All Out 2025
AEW Unified Championship
Three Way
Konosuke Takeshita versus Máscara Dorada versus Kazuchika Okada (c)

What is it with Takeshita and Okada?
Last year it absolutely felt like the two were going to clash head to head. It felt like Konosuke Takeshita was being built up in a one versus one match, but instead we got a four way at All Out 2024. That included Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy (miss you), and of course Kazuchika Okada as champion.
One year later, here’s Konosuke Takeshita winning an eliminator against Anthony Bowens to get a shot against Okada for the Unified Championship, which includes both the International and Continental Championships.
Why can’t these two men face each other one on one?
It’s even more surprising that Takeshita is in this match as he’s currently the G1 Climax winner and will be getting an IWGP World Heavyweight Championship shot against Zack Sabre Jr. in New Japan Pro Wrestling at King of Pro-Wrestling 2025 on October 13, 2025. Either he doesn’t get pinned here or he’s walking out as a double champion with a chance to create a Triple Crown between AEW and NJPW, similar to what Eddie Kingston did, but with much more prestigious championships.
Of course, he’d have to beat Kazuchika Okada, a man who seems to refuse to meet the younger Konosuke in a one on one showdown. The two are teammates in the Don Callis Family but clearly not getting along. Both want to be the top dog of the team and neither want to back down. If this match leads to anything, I think it’s one of them getting kicked out.
I would be remiss to not talk about who is also in the match is Máscara Dorada. Dorada had an incredible match with The Beast Mortos at September To Remember. Dorada (not Gran Metalik for those curious, who once played the role) is only 23 years old and an absolute phenom. This is going to be really great for him. Really wished to see Beast Mortos in this match but I’ll love to see Dorada bumping for both Takeshita and Okada.
While I would rather see El Sky Team in AEW doing trios matches, I’m also excited to see Dorada against two men who can post for him and when they bump for him it will look that much more impressive. But the story between Takeshita and Okada is the real focus for me. What will be the breaking point for two of the three most powerful members of the Don Callis Family.
