Each wrestler in the Continental Classic will wrestle five matches to determine the top two spots of the Gold and Blue League.
At World’s End on December 27th, 2025 live on pay per view, the winner of the Gold League will face second place of the Blue League. The winner of the Blue League will face second place of the Gold League. The winners of these matches will face each other later on the show to determine the 2025 winner of the Continental Classic and the AEW Continental Champion.

Claudio Castagnoli 2-0-1
Jon Moxley 2-2
Orange Cassidy 2-2
Mascara Dorada 1-2
Roderick Strong 0-3

Kazuchika Okada 2-2
Kyle Fletcher 2-2
Speedball Mike Bailey 2-2
Kevin Knight 2-2
PAC 2-1
Jungle Jack Perry 1-2
Blue League Overview
Konosuke Takeshita is in the best position to win the Blue League with 7 points and two matches still remaining against Claudio Castagnoli (who he is currently tied with) and Orange Cassidy (who is only one point behind him) meaning he could potentially finish with 13 points.
Claudio and Jon Moxley are the only members of the Blue League where we know what they can finish with. Claudio is at 7 and can finish with a maximum of 10 points. Moxley can finish with a maximum of 9 points.
Cassidy at 6 still has two matches remaining, allowing him to finish with a maximum of 12 points should he defeat Jon Moxley and Konosuke Takeshita.
Mascara Dorada has two matches remaining and can finish with a maximum of 9 points should he defeat Takeshita and Roderick Strong.
Speaking of Roddy, he’s got two matches remaining but can only play spoiler. His three losses means he cannot get to 7 points, which Takeshita and Claudio currently possess. He can, however, play spoiler to his final opponents in Claudio Castagnoli and Mascara Dorada.
It’ll be interesting to see how the two members of the Death Riders do against members of The Conglomeration: Moxley versus OC, Claudio versus Roddy. Sorry Roddy, you’re in the music video. You’re a member. The Conglomeration could spoil both men and keep them out of the playoff semi final.
Gold League Overview
It’s interesting what AEW President Tony Khan has set up here. Only two fighters have two matches remaining. Everyone else has just one.
There’s a five way tie right now with 6 points. PAC is in the best position due to having 6 points but two matches remaining against Kevin Knight and Jungle Jack Perry.
Jungle Jack, who started 0-1 due to Darby Allin, can get a maximum of 9 points should he defeat PAC and Kyle Fletcher.
Kazuchika Okada needs to beat Speedball Mike Bailey in order to get into the playoffs and defend his 2024 Continental Classic win, as well as the AEW Continental Championship he wears in combination with the AEW International Championship to form the Unified Championship.
Fletcher will face Jungle Jack Perry, which he needs to win if he wants to get into the playoff semi final again like he did last year.
I consider PAC to be in the driver seat here, which will make it tough for Okada and Fletcher, who I felt were the favourites going into the Gold League. PAC is in a better spot than his other Death Rider teammates too.
Week 5 Preview
Spoilers beware. Week 5 is already in the can and people know who are winning this. I’ll do a Week 5 Review and do a preview on the semi final for the Continental Classic before World’s End on December 27, 2025 but I’m not going to say much on previewing week five.
Your matches will be:
AEW Dynamite on 34th Street
December 24, 2025

Konosuke Takeshita (2-0-1) versus Orange Cassidy (2-1)
Roderick Strong (0-3) versus Mascara Dorada (1-2)

PAC (2-1) versus Jungle Jack Perry (1-2)
Should Takeshita defeat Orange Cassidy he would clinch a playoff spot. Should PAC defeat Jungle Jack Perry he would take the lead of the Gold League and likely clinch a playoff spot (we may see another three way tie like we got in 2023 if this happens.)
AEW Christmas Collision
December 25, 2025

Mascara Dorada (1-2) versus Konosuke Takeshita (2-0-1)
Roderick Strong (0-3) versus Claudio Castagnoli (2-0-1)
Orange Cassidy (2-1) versus Jon Moxley (2-2

Speedball Mike Bailey (2-2) versus Kazuchika Okada (2-2)
Kevin Knight (2-2) versus PAC (2-1)
Kyle Fletcher (2-2) versus Jungle Jack Perry (1-2)
Every match here means something on who will be going the playoffs and World’s End except Dorada versus Takeshita if Takeshita defeats OC at Dynamite on 34th Street. Dorada would have to defeat both Roderick Strong and Kazuchika Okada to get to 9 points and be in contention.
If Jack Perry can defeat PAC at Dynamite on 34th Street? Then all three matches for the Gold League will be for 9 points. That could lead to a three way tie. I should point out also we have not had a tie in the Gold League unlike the Blue League.
We’re down to the wire. Have a Merry Christmas and see you for coverage of Week 5 later this week and World’s End Predictions! Sorry, not doing previews when AEW only has three matches announced officially on the card.
