Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley, Jack Perry, Kenny Omega, and The Young Bucks versus Ricochet, Andrade el Idolo, David Finlay, Clark Connors, Mark Davis, and Gates of Agony

I don’t know what to even make of this match. There’s just so much to it. So let me just say off the bat. I think this will be a lot of fun!

I think it’s going to have some amazing spots you’ll talk about for days. The creativity should be high with Chris Jericho, The Elite, and Ricochet all involved.

I just also feel like this is a real mish mash hodge podge of guys who could all be doing better stuff for this show but there’s no room or plans since other guys have things to do so fuck it throw them all in this Stadium Stampede match and let the fireworks explode.

You can look at that as a failure as a booker we couldn’t find a better program for The Dogs without Gabe Kidd, or The Demand, or Andrade, or newly crowned AEW National Champion Mark Davis, or The Elite, or Hurt Syndicate, or Chris Jericho, or Jack Perry… or you can look at this like the best possible solution since this could steal the show.

In breaking down the individual pieces of this match? It’s nice to see The Elite back together. Jack Perry isn’t Hangman Adam Page but he’s still part of the Elite. Is Luchasaurus Elite then? I’m not sure. The funny thing is down the road I could see Ricochet turning babyface and joining The Elite.

I wonder, would The Elite versus The Demand be a great Trios Championship program down the road? How about Jurassic Express versus The Dogs? Lots of good stuff you can do there.

The wildcard here for me is Mark Davis. I think he’s going to get some of the best spots in the match. You know, that isn’t much of a wildcard. He is AEW National Champ.

No, the real wildcard is Andrade. Andrade is on the heel side but is clearly on his way to a babyface first. Is this the night he finally turns his back on the Don Callis Family?

I also wonder how much Shelton and Bobby really do in this match. I know they love to work Gates of Agony and I’m sure they’ll love tussling with Mark Davis, but do we see any big intricate spots with Big Bobby? Is he going to sell for David Finlay the way he sold for his dad Fit? Heck he might even try flipping a car on him like he did his dad by the time this match is over.

I mean I hope he tries to. That would rule.
