AEW All In 2024 airs today on pay per view from Wembley Stadium in London, England.
All In Zero Hour begins at 11AM EST with All In 2024 beginning at 1PM EST.
In the past I’ve done most of my talking up of the matches all in this but I’ve done a breakdown of all of the matches in their own separate posts this week (except for the Zero Hour match announced last night) so this will specifically be about the predictions on winners and losers.
There are people who wish AEW All In could become the WrestleMania for AEW. I personally hope AEW never takes this mindset. The company shouldn’t be building to one big match per year. They should be having equal pay per views all year where the stories themselves are the purpose. If a story ends best at Full Gear you end it there. You don’t delay things or shift stories just so things can happen at the stadium show.
A lot of this has happened for All In and it has made for some awkward matchups. The Trios Championship is a mess. The Tag Championship is a mess. There is no AEW Continental Championship match planned so we will probably see Kazuchika Okada tossed into the Casino Gauntlet match. Then you have Bryan Danielson’s Final Countdown taking the spot in the main event which should have went to the strongest story being told in Hangman versus Swerve.
But that said, there’s other matches on the card that have been handled perfectly into All In. Britt Baker versus Mercedes Moné, Will Ospreay versus MJF, Darby Allin versus Jack Perry, and Mariah May versus Toni Storm I think were the right matches for the right show.
To be honest? Mariah May and Toni Storm should be headlining this show. Best story. Best build.
I think AEW is in a very good place here, and honestly in a much better place than they were for All In 2023. Even then, this is two years of stadium shows drawing more than 40,000 people. There’s the Warner Bros Discovery renewal deal with All Elite Wrestling set to be announced any time now according to insiders. AEW skipping Wembley next year in favour of Arlington, Texas but still doing Forbidden Door in England is a great move. Especially if the city of Arlington is helping foot the bill.
Unfortunately, I see a lot of doom and gloom about the card and the company, and I’m glad Garrett Kidney posted his discussion on the You Gotta Be Kidding Me podcast on how NWA:TNA was doing pretty well in 2006 but the wrestling media got so caught up in potential unrealized they thought things were not as good as they were, which ultimately led to TNA making the terrible decision of bringing back Vince Russo and eventually derailing any momentum or success they had been having. It’s a good listen if you’re an AEW fan and realize something very similar is happening 18 years later to AEW:
Anyway, I am looking forward to this show and despite the Nightmare Mode booking, I think AEW is doing a much better job than they were in 2024. And oh yeah, the pro wrestling? Better than ever.
All In Zero Hour
Ten Man Tag Match
Team Von Erich (Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, Katsuyori Shibata, and The Von Erichs) versus Team Agony (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett)
This match got announced last night at AEW Collision so I did not have time to do a proper PPV Preview for it.
That said it will definitely just be something to get a bunch of people on the Wembley show. I have enjoyed this Arlington Von Erich tribe being formed around Dustin Rhodes, Sammy Guevara, Katsuyori Shibata, and the Von Erich boys. I’m interested to see if we’re going to get an inevitable heel turn by Guevara on Dustin, or if this is more about paying tribute to Texas legends and start an early build up for the Arlington All In. If you are going to run a retirement match for Dustin Rhodes, I think there’s no better place than All In 2025 in Texas.
I really hope AEW does more with Gates of Agony because I think there’s real potential in Kaun and Liona as a monster tag team. I think AEW needs more monster tag teams and it’s why I’m big on pushing Powerhouse Hobbs and Wardlow to return as a monster tag team instead of the same old singles runs.
The Von Erich’s are interesting. I watched them a bit in Major League Wrestling. I think Marshall has serious potential as a future singles star while Ross is just a very good looking man. Maybe he gets better but he’s already in his 30s. Mid 30s.
I think this match is about starting the road to Arlington, Texas and All In 2025 and will do a good job in serving that.
Winners: Team Von Erich
All In Zero Hour
Mixed Tag Match
Winning Team Chooses Stipulation for All Out
Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway versus Willow Nightingale and Tomohiro Ishii
I have been a big fan of Tomohiro Ishii getting to hang out in AEW instead of working the G1 Climax or being stuck in undercard tag matches over there. He’s been a nice addition to the AEW roster for the time being. The AEW fans love him.
As for this match? It’s clearly an advantage for Ishii and Willow since both are excellent wrestlers. Statlander is fantastic but when your partner is your manger? You’re at a major disadvantage. I think that disadvantage ends up why they win, as they will set something up to try to mess with Willow and Tomo. I don’t know what it is, but that’s the result I expect to see.
Winner: Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway
All In Zero Hour
16 Man Tag Match
TEAM SATNAM (Satnam Singh, Jay Lethal, Anthony Ogogo, Ariya Daivari, Private Party, Dark Order) versus TEAM DYNAMITE (Tommy Billington, Kip Sabian, Rocky Romero, Kyle Fletcher, Top Flight, Action Andretti, Lio Rush)
It’s 11:30AM EST, the Zero Hour has already started, and we’re getting another match?
I guess you can say that anyone in this won’t be in the Casino Gauntlet match. I’m glad everyone is getting a moment here even if it’s the pre-show, especially Tommy Billington, Anthony Ogogo, and Kip Sabian.
I’m going with TEAM SATNAM just because SATNAM SINGH is the best. Also I expect John Silver to steal the spotlight in this match. Tag division is in shambles. I’ve talked about it a ton this week. Push the Dark Order again.
Winners: TEAM SATNAM

Last Chance
Hook versus Chris Jericho (c)
Chris Jericho has done a great job revitalizing his career once again. That chameleon continues to prove he can change his spots at any time and survive. That said, I think this match will be designed to get the belt back on Hook.
If it was up to me though? I’d have Jericho winning. I think it’s time to get Hook away from the FTW Championship. Maybe take a break for a few months (yeah, I’m saying Hook should take a break not Jericho) and maybe work somewhere like New Japan Pro Wrestling for the 2024 Super Junior Tag League and get some new experience elsewhere.
I also wonder if Hook getting booed against Big Bill ends up leading to them changing plans. If Hook is getting booed beating Chris Jericho? Not a good look for him.
Winner and new FTW Champion: Hook

AEW Trios Championship
London Ladders Match
PAC and Blackpool Combat Club versus Bang Bang Gang versus House of Black versus The Patriarchy (c)
Seeing PAC team with Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. Jon Moxley still Missing in Action) was very strange, but he honestly makes sense for the crew. Or at least, he does now that it seems inevitable that Penta and Fenix are off to the Connecticut retirement home. May they enjoy their future doing three minute Twitter dot com matches for a championship title named after a drug.
I do hope we see Jay White show up to support the Bang Bang Gang, even if it has to be in his cardboard form. I don’t know how serious his injuries are but I miss seeing him.
The House of Black need some form of purpose. Brody King had a phenomenal Continental Classic in 2023 and AEW has done nothing to capitalize on it. Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black are not really doing anything interesting at the moment either. I don’t know if the Trios division is the best thing for them.
I think Christian Cage is just doing this Patriarchy stuff until Adam Copeland returns. And when he does? I don’t think he stays the turtleneck wearing heel. Copeland and Christian need their tag title run.
I think Blackpool Combat Club and PAC end up winning this so PAC gets his big Wembley Stadium moment. As for the match? I doubt it does anything to make me excited for ladder matches in 2024. Big bumps. Tables breaking. Ladders shoved into each other. I rue the day Bret Hart suggested to bring this concept to the 1990s from Stampede Wrestling.
Winners and new AEW Trios Champions: PAC and Blackpool Combat Club

AEW World Tag Championship
The Acclaimed versus FTR versus The Young Bucks (c)
Much like the Trios Division? The Tag division is a mess. It’s stale. It’s boring. The championship has only been defended once since April and people try to act like this is a good thing.
I honestly don’t care for any of these teams to win. It doesn’t really matter to me. I would rather see The Gunns hold the belts. I would rather see Jay White and Juice Robinson hold the belts. I would rather see Chris Jericho and Big Bill hold the belts. Name two wrestlers and I will probably rather see them as tag champions. Just don’t name Danhausen and Billy Gunn.
Please fix this division.
Winners: The Young Bucks I guess.

Casino Gauntlet Match
Confirmed Participants: Hangman Page, Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Evil Uno, Dustin Rhodes, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett
I expect we see Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada, Hologram, and a few others added to the match. Yes, I am also disappointed AEW did not put Okada in a title match for All In.
I do think this is for Hangman Adam Page to win. I can’t think of anyone better to win. Then again, I thought that about the 2024 Owen Hart Memorial Tournament and Blood and Guts. 0-2 for predicting Adam Page to win.
Hangman winning opens up far more opportunities than anyone else winning.
Oh and also? Tony Schiavone confirmed on AEW Collision the shot is anywhere anytime.
Winner: Hangman Adam Page

TNT Championship
Coffin Match
Darby Allin versus Jack Perry (c)
Darby Allin has an AEW Men’s World Championship shot coming at Grand Slam. There’s already talk from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter he’s being moved to the main event. It feels obvious that Darby is going to be losing this to move up the ranks.
It’s still surprising he might lose his signature Coffin match to Jack Perry, but Jack absolutely needs a big victory like this to his name. Maybe he will defend the TNT more after having the added confidence of taking Darby down.
I don’t know where else to say it, so I’ll just say it here… anyone else find it interesting that Jack Perry and Killswitch never interact? When Marko Stunt came back he fought Jack Perry and interacted a little with Killswitch. I wonder what’s the plan there. I would be all for Killshot eventually becoming Luchasaurus again and tag teaming with Jack Perry once The Elite stuff is over. After talking about how disappointing the tag division has been, the only thing that gives me excitement is a heel Jurassic Express taking on Christian Cage and Adam Copeland for the tag titles. Anyway.
Winner: Jack Perry

TBS Championship
Dr. Britt Baker DMD versus Mercedes Moné (c)
I am 100% convinced that Jamie Hayter returns to save Britt Baker from a beatdown from Brickhouse Kamille and Mercedes Moné. I guess there’s rumours that Hayter and Baker are no longer close but hopefully both can be professionals. It’s what everyone wants to see. You don’t bring in Kamille to be Mercedes muscle without bringing someone to match her.
Winner: Mercedes Moné

AEW American Championship
Will Ospreay versus Maxwell Jacob Friedman (c)
There is a part of me that wonders what if this match doesn’t end with Ospreay hitting the Tiger Driver 91 on MJF to the biggest pop of the night and instead MJF is going to retain to face a returning Daniel Garcia and drop the title to him instead.
And then I smarten up.
This is my pick for potential best match of the night.
Winner and new AEW International Champion: Will Ospreay

AEW Women’s World Championship
Mariah May versus Timeless Toni Storm (c)
The best story told by AEW in 2024, and arguably one of the best stories ever told by the company. The only one I would consider better is Hangman Page’s rise to the championship 2020-2021.
I feel like Toni Storm wins this here, but I would not be shocked at all if Mariah May takes it all and completes her evil plan.
Mariah has got everything she has wanted so far. She earned Toni’s trust. She won the 2024 Owen Hart Memorial. She turned on Toni to send her into a fit of rage. All that’s left is becoming champion.
I just don’t think that’s the movie Timeless Toni Storm is planning to star in.
Winner: Timeless Toni Storm

AEW Men’s World Championship
The Final Countdown
Bryan Danielson versus Swerve Strickland (c)
I wish Bryan Danielson had a better road to his Final Countdown which made me feel like he was the biggest star in the world about to face the biggest heel trying to end his career before he could become AEW Men’s World Champion at the biggest show of the year.
I wish Swerve Strickland got to face his greatest rival in Hangman Adam Page for the AEW Men’s World Championship at the biggest show of the year and didn’t have to play the antagonist in this match just so Bryan Danielson can give a shit in the final two weeks.
For all of my wishes, I can either be let down by the unrealized potential or be excited on what should be an absolutely phenomenal main event in front of 50,000 fans in London, England.
Danielson said he was the best wrestler of the past 20 years (I lean towards Hiroshi Tanahashi) and if he isn’t he’s unquestionably top three. Strickland has been a great Men’s World Champion for All Elite Wrestling and I have no doubt in my mind this isn’t his only shot. This is merely his first run with the championship.
I think Ospreay versus MJF have a better match, but if this surpasses it? I would not be shocked for a second. The American Dragon is going to be ending his full-time career with some of the greatest matches he will ever wrestle.
When Danielson wrestled Swerve at Title Tuesday 2023 October 10, 2023, they didn’t have the best chemistry but it didn’t matter. They were such high level wrestlers they made the pieces fit anyway. The fact this is their second bout tells me that chemistry issue won’t be a problem this time.
Hangman Page cost Swerve the match last year. I wonder how he gets involved in this?
Winner and new AEW Men’s World Champion: Bryan Danielson
In the words of Ian Riccaboni: happy wrestling everyone.
