4-Way Tag Team Match
Marina Shafir and Megan Bayne versus Timeless Love Bombs versus Babes of Wrath versus Sisters of Sin

The winners of this match pick the stipulation for their semi final match.

It’s an interesting setup and makes me think a heel is winning it because that puts their opponents in a compromised position. That means either Sisters of Sin or Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir.

I’m kind of disappointed that those two teams are not switching sides because I really thought we’d get Toni and Mina versus Marina and Megan as the final. It’s a pretty devastating semi final match and should likely decide who ends up winning the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship.

I’ve considered the Timeless Love Bombs the favourite of the tournament and when it was announced thought it would be obvious to have Mercedes Moné and Athena on the other side. Moné having double duty and losing both matches due to it would be your heel avarice error. Instead they lost as a first round surprise.

I’ve seen people complain about how the tournament is not finishing up at Full Gear or how they are not doing tournament matches on the pay per view. I’m fine with it. You can’t have two new championships crowned on the same night. Even AEW in 2019 staggered their titles to ensure it wasn’t all given on the same day. The AEW National Championship gets crowned at Full Gear while the women likely finish up at World’s End. That allows them to actually have the final set weeks prior to the pay per view and actually build it up! This is a good thing folks!

As for this match? Like I said, I see a heel team winning. That allows them to stack the deck on a babyface team. Either the babyface team survives the adversity to look even more impressive going into the final or the stipulation ensures a heel victory. It’s a good way to add some spice to the semifinal.
