$1,000,000 Match
Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express versus Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks

It’s a fun question isn’t it? What would you do with $1,000,000?

That said, it’s a trios match so I think you gotta split the money. Kenny Omega and Jurassic Express I’m sure split it down the middle, $333K each with whatever decimal points go to the dinosaur (he’s the biggest) but for Bucks and Josh Alexander? Don Callis got them the match. Does he take a large cut? Does he give it to the Bucks as payment to get them to join?

That’s what this is really about anyway. Full Gear is all about Don Callis trying to increase the ranks of an already massive Don Callis Family. He’s trying to recruit Mark Briscoe for whatever nefarious reason he has in the TNT Championship match. But the Young Bucks? It feels obvious as to why he wants them. He wants a top tag team in his ranks. He could reform Aussie Open but Kyle Fletcher is too valuable as a singles. RPG Vice is a good team but not a top ranked team. They are currently bullying a child on the pre-show. Stokely already has FTR. Why not the Bucks?

The Young Bucks have had a real apprehension lately to their behaviour. Going broke might have helped them reconnect to their humanity. We’re not getting the bloodthirsty monsters of The Elite anymore. They’ve been unsure on joining forces with the DCF and unsure about fighting Kenny Omega. It really goes back to what I said in July when I suggested Redemption for the Bucks. Joining Don Callis Family would be rejecting that redemption. That might not happen here. There might be more power in rejecting the Don Callis Family.

I think there was originally a plan to do Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi versus the Bucks as that last big heel program but now with Ibushi on the injured reserve it’s time to pivot to going right to the real Elite.

Unless, of course, that isn’t the plan. And the plan is for Josh Alexander to absolutely wreck Kenny Omega and remove any possibility of a real Elite reunion.

My hope is this eventually leads to a one on one match between Alexander and Omega, the match that was supposed to headline Bound For Glory in Impact Wrestling back in 2021. The Walking Weapon has dreamed of this match for years now and there’s only so much time left to do it. I think now is the chance, and it comes off of this trios match.

As for the money… I don’t know. Do you care about the money? Does it move you for there to be “money matches” in pro wrestling anymore? Or is this an old archaic territory idea? I feel like fans care more about stipulations that lead to something they can see like a title shot or winning an item. I guess that’s up to interpretation.

So what would I do with $1,000,000? Probably find a dinosaur to fight for me. That looks cool.
